Events
Annual Quiz Night
The annual Quiz Night held in December 2012 was another success for the charity. Thirty teams of four had a thoroughly enjoyable time in Retford Oaks Academy. The winning team was The Burma Spitfires who scored 129 points out of a possible 140. FoYPiB will be holding another Quiz Night later in the year, further details nearer the time.

Sewhat 2013
This annual event to celebrate the creativity of young people from across the district was held in March at North Notts Community Arena. Over 250 young people took part. A delighted audience saw skirts, tops, hats, bags, jewellery and much much more down the cat walk. Funds raised from ticket slaes will be re-distributed through the grant giving trust of the charity.
Annual Fun Run
The annual Fun Run took place on Sunday 12th May. The event was kindly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Retford with support from A1 Housing Support Services. Over two hundred people took part and thoroughly enjoyed the morning, the event helped to raise much needed funds for the charity. The first young person back was Adam Freeman from the Elizabethan Academy.

The charity hosted a stableford competition at Kilton Forest Golf Course on the 26th May.The winning Junior team was from Outwood Academy Valley and the winning Senior team from Rob’s Butchers.All funds raised on the day goes to supporting the grant giving trust and FoYPiB would like to thank all involved who made this a great day including the local businesses and organisations who sponsored all eighteen holes.The Kilton Forest Golf Day 2013 will be held on 6th July 2013.

Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw had another very successful Golf Day at Serlby Park Golf Club on Friday 21st September.The winning team came from Cream Creative, in second was a team of young people from Outwood Academy Valley.During 2013 the Serlby Park Golf Day will be held on Friday 20th September.
